Boarding

At Friendly Paws Pet Resort, our top priority is ensuring the comfort and happiness of every boarding guest. We go above and beyond to create a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where dogs feel completely at home. We understand how important it is for dogs to have plenty of opportunities for exercise and socialization, which is why we provide our overnight boarders with ample playtime in our spacious, fenced-in play areas. This gives them the chance to run, explore, and interact with other dogs, helping them stay active and happy.

When the weather isn’t ideal, we don’t want your pup to miss out on the fun. Therefore, we have an indoor play building where dogs can still enjoy themselves regardless of the rain or snow. Additionally, for dogs that prefer a bit of solitude, we offer a separate, gated area where they can relax in peace, enjoying fresh air without the hustle and bustle of other playgroups.

Finally, after a day full of play and excitement, we recognize how important it is for our guests to rest and recharge. For this reason, we ensure they have a calm, quiet space to relax and enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep. At Friendly Paws, we’re dedicated to providing a well-rounded experience that not only keeps your dog safe but also ensures they have fun, stay active, and get the rest they need.

Boarding Tips and Reminders

Plan ahead and make your reservations early, as our overnight dog boarding tends to fill up quickly.
Provide proof of vaccinations at the time of the boarding request. Reservation requests will not be processed without current vaccination records on file. Please make sure your dog’s Bordetella vaccination has been updated within the last six months.
All new boarders over the age of 10 years must provide a letter from their vet approving their boarding stay. Returning boarders will be approved, with or without a letter, at the discretion of management.
To minimize any upset stomachs, avoid feeding your pet in the hours leading up to drop-off, as being in a new environment can be stressful.
Allow for extra time on the day of drop-off so that we can go over all necessary information to make your pet’s stay as comfortable as possible.
Please inform us of any behavior or medical problems your pet may have, such as:
• Allergies
• Medications
• Separation anxiety
• Behavioral issues
As a pet owner, you are financially responsible for any veterinary care that may be required for your pet during their stay with us. Any information that may help us care for your pet is important.
For the safety of our guests and staff, we reserve the right to deny boarding/daycare to any dog showing aggressive behaviors upon check-in.
If your pet doesn’t like to be away from home, we offer in-home pet sitting options and services. Please contact a member of our staff at 412-489-6587 to discuss these options.
